Bigger Than Sports: Elite Female Athlete Mentorship
Build confidence, leadership, and life skills while excelling in your sport.

At LGACADEMY, our Elite Female Athlete Mentorship Program goes far beyond athletic training. We believe true greatness begins with mindset, community, and personal growth. Our mentorship helps student-athletes build discipline, confidence, and purpose on the field, in the classroom, and in life.

We focus on developing the whole athlete, combining physical training with mindset coaching, emotional intelligence, and leadership. Every session, conversation, and challenge is designed to teach our athletes how to push through obstacles, embrace failure as feedback, and rise stronger each day.

Our Community
Athletes thrive when they feel supported. That’s why LGACADEMY is built on a foundation of community, accountability, and connection. Each student-athlete is surrounded by mentors and peers who push them to stay consistent, stay humble, and stay hungry. Together, we celebrate progress, build character, and reinforce the values that create lasting success.
The 4 Pillars of Excellence
Mindset & Leadership Coaching
We help athletes develop confidence, discipline and resilience. We teach athletes how to manage pressure, overcome setbacks, and stay composed in high-stake moments because success starts in the mind. Through emotional intelligence and decision-making exercises, athletes learn leadership strategies that allow them to excel not just in sports, but in school and in life.
Performance, Recovery & Nutrition
Training
Our performance pillar focuses on improving athletic ability through speed, strength, and agility training. Athletes learn proper recovery techniques and injury prevention strategies while receiving personalized nutrition guidance to fuel performance, optimize energy, and support overall health.
Tutoring & Academic Support
Athletes receive guidance to strengthen study habits, balance school with training/practice, and improve performance in the classroom. Through mentorship and goal-setting, they build time management skills, accountability, and focus needed to succeed in both academics and athletics.
College Prep, NIL, Branding & Financial Literacy
We prepare athletes for life beyond high school by guiding them through college recruiting, scholarships, and applications. Athletes receive education in NIL opportunities, personal branding, and financial literacy, equipping then with the knowledge and skills to make informed choices, develop their personal brand, and plan for long-term success.

Mentorship Program FAQs
How many athletes are selected?
Each year, we intentionally limit the number of athletes to ensure meaningful mentorship and individualized support. Selection is based on the application, essay, recommendations, and interview process.
Athletes who are not selected are still part of our community and have opportunities to stay connected through workshops, seminars, and special events offered throughout the year.
What is the cost of the program?
The Mentorship Program is provided at no cost to selected athletes and is funded through sponsorships and charitable donations. LGACADEMY is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Athletes are responsible for a $50/monthly fee for the Monthly Community Experience. Is this required or optional? These events are important life experiences and will be very beneficial. We want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to participate, if payment is an issue we can absolutely discuss it.

Where does the program take place?
Programming includes a combination of in-person sessions, workshops, and virtual support. Select training and events are hosted at LGACADEMY facilities (Little Elm) and partner locations in Frisco.
Is this program open to athletes in any sport?
Yes. The Mentorship Program is open to female athletes across all sports.
Do athletes need to reside in the DFW area?
Yes. Residency in the DFW area is required for participation in the Elite Female Athlete Mentorship Program because of in-person training, mentorship, and experiences.
Athletes outside the DFW area are welcome to join special events, workshops, seminars, and virtual opportunities as they become available.
What does parent involvement look like?
